I’m Fritz, a traditional bowyer and craftsman at heart. I grew up surrounded by the vast wilderness of Northern British Columbia, Canada, during the ‘70’s. A time when the great outdoors provided almost all of a child’s entertainment. I found plenty of it observing the multitudes of wild game, hunting squirrels or building “stuff”.

At age twelve I built my first boat. Although nobody else thought much of it; to my twelve-year-old eyes, it was a masterpiece. And it ignited my lifelong passion for creating beautiful things out of wood. By my mid teens, I was an avid outdoorsman and spent most of my free time in the bush studying the animals who call it home.
