Mountain Man Bows, heretofore known as MMB, warrants to the original purchaser a stock or custom bow free from defects in materials and workmanship. MMB also warrants that its bows will perform their intended function if used according to the instructions provided. Under this limited warranty, MMB will determine whether any bow returned within the two year warranty period should be repaired or replaced. 

As stated above, this warranty is good for two years.

Mountain Man Bows accepts order cancellations up to the time bow construction begins. $90 will be withheld from refund to cover any material upgrades, processing and administrative costs.  

Please be aware, the following will VOID this warranty:

If you abuse or alter your bow.

If you leave your bow strung in direct sunlight. 

If you leave your bow in a car, car trunk, truck cab, or any place that is hot or humid.

If you store your bow standing in the corner on one limb.

Please use the original packaging when returning your bow. Call or email if you need step-by-step re-packaging instructions. If your bow is damaged because of insufficient packaging during shipping, your total refund amount will reflect the damage amount, or the bow may be returned to you, with your refund denied. 

If the returned bow is damaged because of carrier mishandling, it is your responsibilty to file a claim with the carrier for the cost of damage. MMB is not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise during return shipping. MMB highly recommends return shipping include tracking number and signature requirement through UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Warranty Limitations

• Returns to MMB need pre-authorization. Purchasers must contact Fritz Hanna at 1-907-232-2738 prior to shipping to receive authorization. Shipping charges for a return to MMB are the owner’s responsibility. C.O.Ds will be rejected. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE and applies only to the original purchaser.
• MMB warrants bows up to the amount of the original purchase price. If your bow was purchased at a discounted price, bow repair and/or replacement cost coverage is limited to that price.
• This warranty does not cover damage caused by dry-firing, accidents or improper handling or use. If the bow shows signs of such, this warranty will be void.
• Modifications and labor fees are always non refundable.
• Please remove all accessories from the bow prior to shipping. MMB isn’t responsible for damage or loss of any accessory left on (or shipped with) the bow.
• Using arrows less than 9 grains per pound VOIDS your warranty.
• This warranty is VOID if the product is in any way MODIFIED from its original state.
• This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or cosmetic damage such as scratches, chips or dings in the finish.  
• MMB MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, except as stated above.

Accessories Warranty:  

MMB guarantee its accessories to be free of damage, defects in materials or workmanship at the time of arrival to your door. If upon inspection you find an item to be compromised, the following applies:

• You cover all return shipping charges unless you received the wrong merchandise or if the merchandise arrived damaged during shipping. Refund payment method is the same as your original payment method.
• Credit card payment method will reduce the amount refunded by the percentage the credit card company charges.
• Items won’t be replaced or refunded if they’ve been misused or abused.
• Modifications and labor fees are always non refundable.
• A 10% restocking fee will apply if we find returned accessory merchandise is not in like-new condition.
