Whether you’re hunting out of a blind, high up in a stand or in pristine alpine meadows, Wilderness Wanderer makes the perfect companion. 

This bow features a three piece takedown with a time tested two pin, single bolt attachment system.  I reinforce every riser with my tough core components of either fiberglass or G10 for rigidity and strength.                   

Mountain Man bows are all designed to shoot off the shelf. I cut the site window past center. The arrow shelf is radiused along with the site window at a point directly above the deepest part of your grip. This helps minimize errors in your draw cycle, promoting accuracy.

As with any Mountain Man Bow, woods featured in the Wilderness Wanderer are hand selected for their appearance and figure. Woods requiring stabilization for durability, such as spalted woods, go through my stabilization process. I infuse them with resin and cure them in an oven. The end product is dense, hard, and highly durable, with a striking beauty that transforms each bow into a piece of art.

Standard limbs are black glass with an action wood or bamboo core. The action wood I use is a laminated yellow birch that’s dyed, giving many different color choices. An upgrade to clear glass is available. You can also upgrade to carbon.

Wilderness Wanderer limb tips are fast flight compatible. You can enhance them with overlays of any exotic hardwood or upgrade to Alaskan moose antler, Alaskan caribou antler or Alaskan dall sheep horn to create a uniquely stunning look.
